In  Today's session  in the morning we were doing lots of  editing.After break Derek  came,

we showed our rough edit to  Derek.  we weretalking what  is our video about,how does it going to  efffect other teenagers,and what else do we going to   have to  do  ... we pointed out that if some  teenagers will  watch that video,and if they're in the same situation they will  think  maybe,that they should ask  someone's help  not just like  stay how it is.They will seiously think. He said that if we want to  make  them think then   we really  have to  do  it something like really  special to think,how in the real  life is. We now realise that we need   to  do it everything more realistic, like there is one scene that the girl  has a bruise and she doesnt show to  her friend,he said it would more realistic,if she  could show it  to  her friend. because in that scene you cant actually  see her bruise.he  really  liked the bit when  a  girl  found out that  her boyfriend was cheating on her,because he said that before he was thinking how do  we are going to  show,that is going to  be really  hard to  show it,but after he said its really  good an idea.He didnt really  like the bit with  a facebook  chat.He suggested  like that we could add some effects on it,on a chat some circle around,and he said that a chat is a bit to  long,so  we have to  make it more sorter.

After he left we were doing some more editing,we corrected the things that he said we should change it,we found some music to put on it,to make everything more sad.we finnish everything for the next lesson we will going to  have to  work on our folders,to  finnish it of everything.

Today we had to  do some filming,we decided to  change some of the scenario,because we thought it will be more interesting. we changed that bit the girl  saw her boyfriend cheating on her.We chose to  do  phone calling,because we thought it would be more interesting and there you  can show some more emotions. it was the only  bit which we had to do  and we finnished it.

After we came back to the classroom we started editing all of those videos,

we tried to  take sound of the other video and put it onto the other one because it was some strange noises,and when we did it it didnt really  work. so we just had to  leave it as it was before. We found that  one thing if its some bit really  important and for example that scene is to  quick or to  slow then we can  make  that bit more slowly or more quicker,and that was  really  useful thing. We found out that video can look  more interesting if  for example one person would talk to the other person. And during this time they  would talk, if you show of those two  persons emotions it would look  really  really  good. we tried it and it really  worked!

One thing that it was really annoying that when we filmed, computer's screen  went blue or thorough the computer's screen was going some  weird lines, so we had to  edit some effects for it for don't see the blue screen,if we wouldn't do it, then we would have to  come back and do this shot of computer's screen again.

I have enjoyed actually  editing,it was well fun,the most thing that i liked about it ,and i found it really funny it was when like you are watching a video and if you speed up a voice,its actually  your is really  funny.

As a group  we were discussing a lot, we tried to  find the best way to it,we were deciding everything together.

For next week we have to  finnish it of. because we haven't done even half of the editing ...  so we just have to work on it next week for rest of the day.

And maybe we have practise a bit how to  edit a video, because its lots of things that we dont really  know about it . 

In Today's session  we went to  film  in Thea's , we wanted to  finnish  it of,but we didnt finnish all of it because sound wasnt working.and we had to  come back to  school.but what we did,we did one of the flash back,when  her boyfriend was going to  hurt  her.she was sitting on the  stairs in the corner really  scared .. and the same scene we did it from  of shapes.
After we came back to  school  we did some editing..  I learned to  how to  edit some effects, and how to  speed up  a video and when you  are doing it sounds really  funnt  thats what i liked the most about it.
But the things that i   learned today its really  useful, that things that i  didnt know before...
for next time we plan to  finnish it all of it .. next week we are going to thea's house  to  film  and then come back and edit it ..

In Today's session,the group  of Me,Thea and Amiee went to  film it outside of the school.we decided to  film in Thea's house because it was closer to school.

First thing what  did we have to  do  before filming, we had to  write a risk assessment about what kind of dangerous things could happen.on the way  to  Thea's house and there.After we finnished it we took  all  the equipments (camera,charge ...)  and went to  Thea's house to  film it ...
When we came to  Thea's we took all  of the equipments out and we started to film. Our topic was about relationships ...
My role today was  an actress  i had to  be a girl  who is suffering from her boyfriend because hes cheating on  her,hurts her,doesnt  respect me.I worked out if you  like taking a shot like of your hands,legs...then you  can show your emotions much better.I realised as much shots as you  do  like for example: one girl is talking and during this time shes talking if you take lots of shots of  her from different sides, hands,close up to face it's going to  look more interesting..For me as an actress most of the hardest thing it was to  show an emotions for the situation .. so i just had to  work  on it a litte bit ..

It was well enjoyable to work as a group.. the funniest thing it was like when it starting you filming you just want to  laugh..,  thats what i hated the most..It was really  usefull  in our filming to  use white balance,because for an example we had to  film  a screen of computer and it was blue,so we just used a white balance,and it  alright after..
I think that as a group  we really  improved our  skills ..
For next time we have to  film another half of video..

In  today's session we done lots of work. First   Derek Budd came to  see us from youthoria. he was telling about that website called youthoria what is in it what type of videos are there and lots of more information.
After all of the groups had to  tell them   story of a film which they are going to do.He helped us to improve our story  board,what should we do   to improve,what things we shoudnt we do.
After all of this we  had to write  a script  what dialogue is it going to be,what is the story  that we are going to  film what emotion  we are going to  show in this video... We were doing lots of planning.l like what props do and we as a group  desiced that the girl  is going to  use like really  dark,dull colours,because shes really  dissapointed about her boyfriend,and her friend is going to wear normal clothes, girl's boyfriend and the girl that hes going to  cheat on her them are going to  wear warm clothes after this we had to  write what props do  we going to  need: we need 2-mugs,facebook,and phone.
 where are we going to  film. we desiced to  film in thea's house,because it is more closed. and after we had to fill the sheet in .. about all of the locations that we are going to  film in. after all  of this we are  going to   to  write risk assessment.
i think it was well useful,to write all of this information .

This session we were working in groups of 3. It was me Thea and Amiee, the topic of the day it was Teenagers. First thing what we did, it was we had to  choose 4 topics and after of those 4topics we had decide which topic do we want to do the most. the first thing that we did it was we wrote lots of them ... and after we chose 4 the best ones: it was STEALING,PREGNANT,DRUGS,RELATIONSHIPS. it was well hard to  chose which of them do we want to do the most. but we decided it was RELATIONSHIPS we thought we are going to do this about it,its going to be well interesting.
First thing what we did it was we planned everything,how are we going to do it.where.what props do we going to  need it  etc... and after all of this we were doing some researching about RELATIONSHIPS.abuse,cheating,breaking up.
Our story  was: one was is talking to her friend and she tells everything about her boyfriend that hes cheating on her he doesn't  respect her, and all the time beats her up ..
we decided that after she tells  to  her friend that her boyfriend is cheating on her,and  then she remembers when it was ... like he was hugging another girl.
it was enjoyable to create like your own story  and you  can come up with any ideas that you really want, you just had to  use you imagination.It was useful topic because that could happen to anyone and i think it makes you think all little bit.

for nest week now we just need to  write a script about it... then we have to plan where do we going to do it etc ... 
I have learned today about lots methods that you can use in your clip,what type of acting can you  do for make audience think  about it ... and lots of more things.

In today's session. we were working in groups of 5. the task was : like CHASING .
The story can be related with anything.. money,drugs,relationships,arguing etc .. The first shot that we did it was that one of the person was holding a money..  and  another some random person took it and started to  run. and then the one that lost a money started chasing him. the first shot that it was,camera was moving we did this shot because when you doing  it looks like kind of scary,because you don't know when the camera is going to  stop,and what is going to happen next,and specially  when camera is moving slowly. another shot was outside seeing them running, we decided to do this shot because you can see how far  them is going to run,and makes it you feel a bit stress if he's going to catch him of not,another camera's position was on the floor that you can see just only your legs. we did this shot because you can see how quick are they running,and it makes  a video more interesting not that boring. and then another shot was  that the stealer hide behind a bush,first shot was only a bush and then he came really  quick and hide it behind a bush,and another person just ran pass.(in that moment an audience it makes feel if he's still going to catch him)?and then the person that lost him was standing and looking around,and then just a thief just ran behind him,then he saw him and started chasing him again... in that moment that they were running thief just fell of the stairs.And the person that lost a money just took. it was the end of it. It was all that we did.
In this session i learned lots of things,that you can do lots of shapes on camera not only just like straight,but you can put a camera in any shape that you want,then another thing that i learned it was how to upload a video on the blog, and more stuff now to edit video,where can we download music and etc...

Chasing

In Today's Session.We had to work in 4. Two of them had to be an actors and another two had to work with sound and camera,filming it etc...We decided to do scene like one of the actor had to lean to wall and look like really scared,nervous.and another one had to come like really angry with that person that leaned to wall.we choose this scene because this person who leaned to the wall it was easier to show that she's in nervous/scared,and another one because you can see that he's angry the way he walks,talks, and reaction of face.
My role today was to be an actor.I suggested some of the ideas.It was  my idea to  do that scene,and i gave an ideas which shape can we film.
It was enjoyable to be an actress , was fun because some of the bits i couldn't stop laughing.i liked because when i was acting  i was feeling like thats happening in real life.I found it easy to be an  actress because before i thought that its well hard to act ,but it  wasnt that  hard as i thought. The hardest thing was to do its the shape of camera,because you had to find the right shape for that episode. Someone pointed out that when you open the door like quicky and really loud you can show how angry you are. as a group we improved our media's skills,we learned lots from each other.
next time as a group we aim  to  do everything much better than we did this time.
But i think as a group we were working well good. :)

Not bad, but very brief, Gerda!

This session the group of 2 had to take 24 pictures of everything whatever what did we want ..In our Group of 2 we planned that each person has to take 12 pictures.we took a pictures of colidors,learning centre,people...My role was today to take a pictures,and decide where to take a pictures.I found it interesting that you can take picture with any shape of camera that you want.i found it a little bit hard how to use that camera..it it was enjoyable to learn how to use a camera but a little bit hard,and take lots of pictures.i think next time as a group we should work together and to make decisions together.

Today we were working in the groups of 3. we had to introduct ourselfs.We were accepting desicions together,and i think as a group we were working well good.The first thing that we did, it was we planned how do we are going to do it everything,we were practising lots of times the same scene till we did it right.My role in group was to hold a micraphone and look if everything is okay with a sound.I worked out that a white paper can correct all of the colours.The hardest thing was to set in the right position a camera.
Now i know know how to use a video and camera,what does every bottom means,how to change a sound on it aswell...and lots of more things, and i do love media now !
